I am fascinated by the stories, histories and trace elements possessed by the abandoned, decayed and collections of artefacts. Through my work I aim to capture and reflect the visual imagery I draw from exploring and discovering these places and objects that have been forgotten over a period of time.

As a contemporary jeweller, my approach to making work is very experimental. Being open to the exploration of broad ranges of materials and processes allows me to combine and develop them, producing a series of components which work together in the building and constructing of the final pieces.

Form and texture are two important factors to me when making work. I like to invest time into their development throughout a project which I do through the creation of ‘multiples’. Along with tracking the progression of my work comes the layering and communication of the imagery that feeds my concept.
